REAL ESTATE EXPERT WITH A PASSION FOR THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

  • Over 15 years of experience in the professional real estate sector, where I have worked different angles within the industry. I started my career in Belgium working the banking sector structuring financing deals for large scale residential and commercial real estate projects in the CEE, then became acquisition manager in the BeNeLux for an important institutional real estate investor (Allianz), until I moved to Switzerland more than 10 years ago where I became Director at the biggest real estate consulting firm in Switzerland (Wüest Partner). Here I had the pleasure of working together with all major professional real estate players in the market and was responsible as FINMA accredited valuer for the valuation of multiple real estate portfolios (listed and non-listed funds), made project feasability analyses for developers and promoters and assisted investors and public institutions with sound investment advice based on thorough market research and data analyses. In more recent years, I took on a more corporate role within the company as Head of International Business Development and was responsible amongst others for leading the post-merger integration process as ad-interim Managing Director of the Paris office.

  • Having worked in different countries (Switzerland: > 10 years, France: 2 years, CEE: 4 years and Belgium: 6 years), I have an open & international mindset, speak multiple languages (English, French, Dutch and German) and have gained a broad network of institutional and private real estate investors, both in Switzerland and abroad I am specialized in all type of real estate investment asset classes (commercial, residential, retail, offices, shopping centers and hotels),

  • My true passion goes to the hospitality sector, as I am the daughter of hotel owners. My parents owned a 40-room hotel & service flat complex in the city center of Antwerp. So this is where I learned all the different traits of the profession from as soon as I was able to walk. Now, coming to think about it, I guess my parents were also actually my first clients when I advised and assisted them - now more than 10 years ago - with the sales process of the hotel upon their retirement.

  • Education: I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Business Economics, Geopolitics & international Relations and a Master in Real Estate Management. In addition, I have multiple certifications in Hotel Asset Management at the EHL and I am also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

  • My main areas of expertise are: valuation of income generating properties (hotels & resorts, apartment complexes, office & retail centers), project feasability studies (ROI/ ROE), property utilization & optimisation assessment, strategic investment & transaction advice, contract negociation, portfolio performance assessment & optimization, finance & deal structuring (LTV, DSCR, ICR), hotel exploitation indicators assessment(GOP, NOI, EBITDA, ADR, RevPAR, GOPPAR,…)

I created this company as I wanted to:

  • Bring together my passion for and experience in real estate and hospitality,

  • Offer my services, expertise and network to real estate investors and owners active in this industry

  • Be the link between hospitality business operations and real estate investment

  • In order to identify and execute optimization strategies that aim to increase the performance and value of both the underlying property as the asset’s operational business.
